GRI403: The New Global Standard

Dr Sharron O’Neill is a senior lecturer in the School of Business at the UNSW Canberra and was Chair of the GRI’s GRI403project working group. Sharron’s area of research expertise is accountability for work health and safety (WHS) performance and her projects examine the design, measurement, reporting and assurance of financial and non-financial measures of OHS performance.

Sharron holds academic and professional accounting qualifications and financial accounting experience in manufacturing, transport and healthcare industries. Her research projects bring the accounting and safety professions together with industry, government and academia and she is a member of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Safety Institute of Australia.

What is the Safety Forum?

This year, myosh joins forces with The Safety Institute of Australia’s annual state conference to bring together safety professionals and industry experts to collaborate, share, and learn.

Plenary sessions will focus on the concepts of Safety Differently, Psychological Health, New Technologies, Standards, and Law.
